We welcome all, including those who are seeking a church home where people are encouraged to think and speak freely about their faith according to their own beliefs and who seek, with us, to build a faithful community that celebrates diversity. We are unified by the leadership of Christ our Lord.

We're located at 6200 Adams St., just North of Northeast High School, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

We gather Sunday mornings at

8:45am - Adult Bible Study (September-May only),

9:15am Sunday School (September-May only),

9:30am Fellowship Hour, and 10:30am Worship!

Summer Hours  June 7th - September 6th, 2009

9:30am Worship and 10:30am Fellowship Hour!

WELCOME MARIAN STORM!

On April 26th, 2009 Marian Storm joined the Northeast UCC family!  She has lived in the Northeast neighborhood most of her life.  Marian worked with special needs children as a Para with the Lincoln Public Schools for 25 years.  She enjoys her 3 children and 6 grandchildren and in September she will welcome her first great-grandchild into her family!  Marian's hobbies are crocheting and Swedish weaving to name a few.

CINCO de MAYO CELEBRATION!

The Cinco de Mayo lunch and dinner was a successful and fun event.  As a fundraiser over $400 was raised and 103 people were served.  In addition, friends and neighbors of the church attended, so our community outreach efforts were rewarding.  The children had a great time breaking the piņata also.  (see photo)

THEATRE PIPE ORGAN CONCERT AND BUS TRIP

Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 12:30pm

Join us in experiencing of the exciting sounds of Nebraska's largest Theatre Pipe Organ in the Markworth Residence in Omaha. Jerry Pawlak will entertain you with a program of show tunes, popular music, and golden oldies on the Markworth's 3/24 Kimball Theatre Pipe Organ.  Also included in the program is a sing-a-long, silent movie and tour of the organ chambers.  We will enjoy some games and have a snack on the bus trip up and on the return trip home we will stop for a buffet dinner at Mahoney State Park.  For more information see the flyer and registration form to the right.  Limited seating so register early!  Open to the public. Registration deadline is August 1, 2009.

JOIN US FOR FAMILY CAMP AT KAMP KALEO!

Labor Day Weekend - September 4th to 7th, 2009
Our church has been offering this wonderful Labor Day weekend family camp experience for over 40 years!  Come join the fun and make plans now to attend the Northeast UCC Kamp Kaleo Family Camp near Burwell, NE on September 4th through the 7th for ONLY $40 PER RETURNING ADULTS & $15 FOR NEW ADULT ATTENDEES!  High School and under are FREE!!!!  Meals included in this price!
